Alessandro Ceruti has been Associate Professor in "Design and Tools of industrial Engineering" at DIN Department / School of Engineering and Architecture, University of Bologna since 2019.

2005-2019: Teacher at the II Faculty of Engineering (now School of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Bologna) of the following classes: Aircraft Technical Drawing, Industrial Technical Drawing, Design, Aircraft Design, Fundamentals of Design Methods for the Aerospace Industry, Design methods for the industrial engineering, Aircraft and Aerospace Design, Laboratory of Design, Principles of Aerospace Engineering.

2005-2019: Assistant Professor at Bologna University.

2001-2005: grants with several Departments and Structures of University of Bologna on the following themes: design and drawing of test bench for aeronautical engines, UAV systems, research on manned and unmanned aircraft, Inertial Measurement Units, design and manufactiong of flight simulators for helicopters.
2004: PhD in "Design and Tools of Industrial Engineering" at University of Bologna, with dissertation on “Design methods for civil UAV systems” (Supervisor Prof. F. Persiani).
2000: Laurea (equivalent to MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Faculty of Engineering, University of Bologna, Bologna with a thesis on "Design and manufacturing of a UAV", advisor Prof. F. Persiani
Author or co-author of 44 Scopus Indexed papers dealing with industrial and aerospace engineering. Co-author of 2 patents. Scientific advisor in grants with industries. Reviewer for International Journals.
