Alessandro Bazzi is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering of the University of Bologna and co-founder of CNIT/WiLab.
His research focuses on wireless communications, with particular emphasis on Cooperative, Connected, and Automated Mobility (CCAM). His interests include V2X communications, IEEE 802.11bd/ITS-G5 and 5G/6G NR-V2X technologies, wireless network simulation, and the integration of wireless communications with automotive radar.
He coordinates national and international research projects and contributes to ETSI standardization activities for Intelligent Transport Systems. He has authored more than 100 scientific publications and has been included in the Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List since 2020.
