Short Bio

Degree in Veterinary Medicine; PhD in Animal Reproduction Physiology. Since 2003 Associate Professor confirmed in Veterinary Physiology SSD VET02 H1N1; activity at the Cesenatico office of the Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences. Institutional teaching activity concerning the professionalizing subjects of Telostei Physiology; and Reproductive physiology and endocrinology of aquatic species; Physiology of adaptation and well-being of reared teleosts; Physiology of cetaceans. Didactic activity in 1st and 2nd level Masters activated at the University of Bologna and Specialized Schools active at the University of Sassari and Milan; Advanced Training Courses and Technical Scientific Meetings of the SIPI (Italian Society of Fish Pathology). Areas of scientific interest physiology and endocrinology of reproduction of Teleostei reared or intended for repopulation; physiology of larval weaning and intestinal ontogenesis; endocrine disraptors. 

Since November 2020, staff member of the European project LIFE19 NAT/IT/000851 Lifeeel coordinated by Prof. O Mordenti.

Prof. Parmeggiani is available to receive students at the premises of the Acquaculture and Hygiene Degree Course in Fish Production in Cesenatico (FC), Viale A. Vespucci 2, first floor, on MONDAY at 1.30 pm
