Associate professor at the University of Bologna since 2006 and belonging to the Department of Sciences for the Quality of Life. It carries out its activity within the SSD M-EDF/01 and mainly deals with the study of populations with specific reference to the metabolic, musculoskeletal and neurodegenerative areas and to the perception of body image in relation to age, sex and lifestyle.
The research focuses on studies related to the aging process, the evaluation of physical efficiency and the administration of suitable physical activity and adapted physical exercise.
Engaged in national and international research projects, he collaborates with various national institutes and companies in the sector.
