Alessandro Martelli

Member of the teaching staff of the PHD “Sociology and social research” at the University of Bologna, he teaches "Social Policies" and "Sociology" at the Forlì Campus. His scientific production, developed at national and international level, concerns mainly two fields: transformations of social needs and of welfare systems and local organization of welfare policies; youth condition, active citizenship and social change. He is member of the Editorial Board of “Applied Sociological Theories” Book series (Collana “Teoria Sociologica applicata”) – L’Harmattan, Parigi-Torino, and of the Editorial Board of the four-monthly journal Autonomie locali e servizi sociali (Local Autonomies and Social Services), published by il Mulino, Bologna. He is the coordinator of the interdisciplinar research centre on social rights (CRIDS) of the Department of Sociology and business law. He has published on books and reviews in Italy and abroad.
