Born
in Ascoli Piceno on 28/11/1970, in 1995 she obtained her degree in
Medicine and Surgery, University of Bologna.
In
2000, she received her degree in Endocrinology and Metabolic
Diseases at the University of
Bologna.
From
June 1999 to June 2000, during the last year of residency, she made
fellowship with Dr. G. Chrousos the PREB / NICHD, NIH,
Washington, USA, dealing with in vitro experiments concerning the
pathophysiology of adipose
tissue.
In
2003, she obtained the title of PhD in Chronic Degenerative
Diseases at the University of
Verona.
In
2005, she worked within the project FIRB, entitled "Design and
synthesis of new radiopharmaceuticals for molecular detection of
onco-haematological diseases and endocrine-metabolic method
using microPET "at the Unit of
Endocrinology, Department of Internal Medicine and
Gastroenterology, Policlinico S. Orsola-Malpighi, Bologna.
December 2008: Researcher in
Endocrinology at the University of
Bologna
2021: she obtained the title of associated professore in endocrinology
2017: she started executing minimally-invasive treatment for benign nodules (PEI, RFA)
