Short Bio

PHD from the University of Pisa, she taught Spanish Literature and History of Spanish Culture at the universities of Cassino, Trento and from 2021 in Bologna.

She has mainly dealt with Literature of the Golden Ages with essays and critical editions by authors such as Francisco de Quevedo and Pedro Calderón de la Barca among others, deepening various literary genres and cultural themes, with an interdisciplinary approach that led her to attend the history of ideas, religionism, comparative science and relations with the arts and journalism.

She directs the Itiber Inter-university Center for Italo-Iberian Studies   (16th-18th centuries) and, with Luigi Contadini, the Center for Studies on the Spanish 18th century of the University of Bologna
