Valentina Gili

Valentina Gili earned her Single Cycle Master's Degree in Architecture from the University of Bologna with a thesis on the architectural history of Villa Aldini and strategies for its enhancement.
In 2014, she participated in the Ministry of Culture's Census of Italian Architecture from 1945 to the Present. 
In 2024, she was a research fellow for the PRIN project DISSONANT HERITAGE AND WAR. Conservation and Communication of a difficult legacy - Co.Co.War (UNIBO Architecture Dept., in partnership with Università Politecnica delle Marche and Politecnico di Torino).

She collaborates with research groups in the historical-architectural and conservation fields, and serves as teaching tutor at the University of Bologna and the University of Brescia.

Currently, she is a PhD student at the University of Brescia, within the Rehabilitation of Historical and Modern Buildings curriculum (DICATAM Dept.) and is conducting a research semester as a visiting PhD student at the Universidad de Zaragoza.
