The present research focuses on the transformation of big corporations through the adoption of innovative business models. Digital economy has profoundly changed corporate business models, even of large corporations. The effort is towards a more open structure, with room for entrepreneurship and people empowerment rather than control through bureaucracy. These innovative business models appears to be also more performing, given the unleashing of people potential.
