Tommaso Maria Brugo graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 2012 at the University of Bologna. He attained a PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 2017 on the study and development composite laminates produced by integrating in them polymeric nanofibrous mats, with the aim of increasing their fracture toughness and confer them the ability of self-repairing.
It’s research activity is mainly focused on the development of advanced composite materials by means of nanotechnologies and their numerical modeling.
