Stefano Toso is a member of the Economics Department of the University of Bologna, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Public Economics.
He studied and conducted research at the Universities of Bologna and Warwick (UK), and at the London School of Economics.
He is research affiliate of the Centre for Analysis of Public Policies (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia).
The author of two books and numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and books, Stefano’s research is focused mainly on the economics of inequality, poverty and the welfare state.
In his free time, he enjoys cycling, walking, reading and good conversation.
