Stefania Voli is a historian and sociologist. She holds a PhD in Women’s History and Gender Identities from the University of Naples “L’Orientale” and a PhD in Applied Sociology and Methodology of Social Research from the University of Milano-Bicocca. Her research focuses on gender history, feminist and transfeminist studies, trans studies, and the history and sociology of political and social movements in Italy, gendered and LGBTQIA+ citizenship, memory and oral history, feminist and LGBTQIA+ archives, gender-based violence, transition to adulthood, and youth political participation. She has collaborated with national and international universities and research centres and currently collaborates with Save the Children Italy and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission.
