1) Social performance and impact measurement in banking

I examine how banks define, measure and disclose social performance and impact, with attention to ESG metrics, outcome indicators and impact management tools. The aim is to assess approaches, levels of measurement and the robustness of evidence used in decision-making and reporting.

2) Impact governance, accountability and disclosure

I investigate governance mechanisms underpinning impact measurement practices (roles, responsibilities, processes, standards and controls) and how they contribute to transparency and accountability. This theme also covers the integration of reporting with management control systems and legitimacy/reputational risk dynamics.

3) Sustainable finance, credit and public value creation

I explore how credit-related instruments and responsible banking practices contribute to public value, including financial inclusion, local development and support to households and firms. The focus is on linking financial tools to measurable social outcomes.

4) Evaluation, policy making and public service quality I develop research on evaluating the quality of public services and supporting institutional recommendations, with attention to performance indicators and policy implications. This theme connects the interaction between institutions, financial systems and social outcomes.
