Simone Vincenzo Suraci

Graduated in 2017 in Energy Engineering at the University of Bologna, he got the PhD degree in "Electrical Engineering" from University of Bologna and "Engineering science - Mechanics and Materials" from École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers (Paris). He has been Post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering (DEI) in the period Nov 2020-Jan 2023.

Since then, he has been Junior Assistant Professor. His research interests include: polymers as electrical insulation, nanodielectrics, condition monitoring techniques for cable systems and insulation system degradation mechanisms.

In December 2023, he got the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor.
