I'm a PhD student in Data Science and Computation at the university of Bologna, working in the analysis of metadata from the CMS computing systems in LHC. I am currently studying grid simulation tools with the objective of developing a Digital Twin prototype of the WLCG grid.

Form 2019 to 2021, I held a research fellow at the INFN-CNAF computing centre, working in log, metrics and metadata analysis for large-scale datacenter. The fellowship was partially founded by the IoTwins Horizon2020 project, for the development of Digital Twins for small and medium enterprises.

Education

I graduated in Physics in 2017 at the University of Bologna, with a Master's degree in Applied Physics in 2019 cum Laude.

I have had additional training in Statistics and Machine Learning, and followed multiple schools in Modern and Efficient Programming and Heterogeneous Computing, with certification in CUDA programming for python and C++.

Teaching

Since 2020 I tutor for the courses in C++ Programming for Physics, and since 2022 for the course in Applied Machine Learning for Bioinformatics.
