Curriculum vitae

Fixed-term Assistan Professor (senior) since 2021, he carries out his research mainly in the field of Molecular Crystal Engineering (MCE) and structural determination using XRD techniques on single crystal and powders.

His current research interests focus on the following topics:

(i) solid solutions of dynamic crystallne systems for the development of solid state electrolytes (ionic / proton conduction);

(ii) development of exfoliable materials and 2D Van Der Waals solids;

(iii) inclusion complexes between native and derivatized cyclodextrins and molecules of agrochemical and cosmetic / pharmaceutical interest;

(iv) polymorphism of semiconductor molecules on thin-films

Other interests include the synthesis and characterization of luminescent co-crystals and the study of solid-state photoreactivity in organic-inorganic salts and coordination compounds.
