Simone Babbi was born in Bologna on April 20, 1992.

He is currently a professional health worker Nurse at the IRCS Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute of Bologna (BO), U.O. Post Operative Intensive Care, with permanent contract from April 2019.

From March 2018 to April 2019 he was a Nurse at AULSS 9 SCALIGERA Verona (VR) in the SPDC Psychiatry Department, Borgo Trento Hospital with a permanent contract.
From March 2015 to March 2018 he worked at the SPOI and Villa Grande psychiatric wards of the Villa Baruzziana Private Accredited Hospital in Bologna (BO).
In the summer of 2016 he worked on a fixed-term basis at the Oncology Institute of Romagna IRST in Meldola (FC) in the oncology wards mostly in the hematology sector with low microbial load.
From 2014 to 2018 he worked as a freelance Nurse in private clinics and free citizens.

Teaching activity:
From the academic year 2021-2022 he has been teaching for the Degree Course in Nursing at the University of Bologna, as holder of the course: "Mental Health Nursing" at the Bologna 1 teaching center.
Since March 2021 he has been a teacher of inter-company training courses in particular on the management of the patient in Intensive Care during the Covid emergency and tutor for on-the-job learning.
