Education
PhD in Conservation of the Architectural Heritage at the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies, Politecnico di Milano, title of the thesis "Material legacies of the Cold War in Italy (1947-1989): Identification and mapping of decommissioned military sites. Prospects on preservation and reuse".
Graduated in 2016 in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano, title of the thesis "Beyond the damage, L'Aquila. Reconstructing prevention through the preservation project in the post-earthquake L'Aquila".

Teaching activities
Currently Adjunct Professor for the Ornamental Green and Landscape Preservation Course and Tutor for the Laboratory of Urban Planning and the course Planning in a changing society at the Department of Architecture at the University of Bologna.
Since 2019 Tutor for Laboratories and Theses of Master's Degree Courses for the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies at Politecnico di Milano. In 2021 lecturer at Uppsala Universitet Campus Gotland for the Master's Degree Course in Cultural Heritage and Sustainability.

Scientific activity
He has carried out numerous exchange and visiting periods at interdisciplinary research groups, such as National Technical University of Athens, Uppsala University Campus Gotland, University of York and Chalmers Technical University. Received funding from Ermenegildo Zegna Founder's Scholarship and participated in several editions of SuHRF Sustainable Heritage Forum at Uppsala Universitet.

Editorial activity
Since 2016, he has been a member of the editorial staff of the scientific journal 'ANANKE, Quadrimestrale di Storia, Cultura e Tecnica per il Progetto' founded by Marco Dezzi Bardeschi.
