Associate professor at the University of Bologna since 2019, she carries out her research in the field of infectious diseases of animals. In particular, she deals with bacterial diseases, zoonoses and antimicrobial resistance. Her research activity is currently focused on the study of antimicrobial-resistance in commensal bacteria.
She is engaged in national research projects and she collaborates with various national and international research groups. She is the author / coauthor of 66publications, of which 44 indexed.
