Curriculum vitae

Silvia Gasparotto, researcher and designer, received her PhD from the IUAV University of Venice in 2016.

Since May 1, 2020, she has been framed in the structured staff of the University of the Republic of San Marino as a Researcher on fixed-term contract. In the same year, she is appointed Vice Director of the Master's Degree Program in Design - curriculum in Interaction & Experience Design.

Since 2017 she has been a lecturer of the design methodologies module within the Integrated course of Industrial Design I at the University of Bologna.

Since 2020 he has been a lecturer in Interaction Design at the University of San Marino.

In 2023 she obtained the national scientific qualification in the field 08/C1 - Design and technological design of architecture.

Author of essays and publications, member of scientific and editorial boards of design journals and publishing series, she has participated in national and international conferences and conventions and won awards and honorable mentions.

Recent research topics include design for the enhancement of tangible and intangible cultural heritage and design for the territory, both approached by examining with particular attention expressive modes, languages, types of narrative and interaction aimed at the involvement of new audiences. He also conducts with continuity, research in the areas of interaction design, university education, process design, and design theory.

Cross-cutting methodologies and approaches used in both teaching and professional consulting are co-design, participatory design, design thinking and lateral thinking.
