CURRICULUM VITAE ET STUDIORUM

1991 - On March 15, he earned a degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Bologna, with a grade of 110/110 with honors, based on an experimental thesis titled: “Hestenes’ Multiplier Method,” supervised by Prof. Ilio Galligani (Full Professor of Numerical Analysis).


2000 - On February 18, he obtained his teaching certification for upper secondary school in the subject areas of Mathematics, Mathematics and Physics, Physics, and Applied Mathematics, passing the reserved session of the competitive examination (OM 33/2000) with an exam score of 80/80.


2000 - On November 27, he obtained his teaching certification for upper secondary schools in the Mathematics subject area by passing the regular competitive exam at the “Pacinotti” Technical Institute for Surveyors, Vicolo dello Stradellaccio 2, Bologna.


2001 – On January 16, he obtained his teaching certification for upper secondary school in the Computer Science subject area, passing the restricted competitive exam (OM 33/2000) at the “Nullo Baldini” Technical Institute (ITI) in Ravenna.


2005 – On September 1, he was appointed to a tenured teaching position in upper secondary school, in the Mathematics ranking (A047), in the province of Rimini.


2006 – In June, at the end of his probationary year, he was granted tenure as a teacher at the “Leonardo da Vinci” Technical Institute of Industrial Sciences (ITIS) in Rimini.


2007 - On September 1, he was appointed to a tenured teaching position at the upper secondary school level, in the Mathematics and Physics category (A049), in the province of Ravenna.


2008 – In May, at the end of his probationary year, he was granted tenure (competition class A049) at the ISA “Severini” in Ravenna.


2009 – On September 1, he was transferred to and granted tenure (competition class A049) at the Liceo Classico “Dante Alighieri” in Ravenna.


2010—On September 1, he was transferred and thus became a tenured teacher (competition class A049) at the “Oriani” Liceo Scientifico in Ravenna.


ADVANCED TRAINING COURSES

- He attended the annual Advanced Training Course: Theory and Application to Computers, organized by the University of Bologna at the Cesena campus of the Information Sciences degree program, located at Via Sacchi 3, from December 1992 through May 1993 (annual course). During the course, he completed a project: a hypertext titled “Multimedia Encyclopedic Dictionary,” using the Multimedia Toolbook.


- During the 1993–94 academic year, he attended the Advanced Course in Mathematics Education for teachers of lower secondary school and the first two years of upper secondary school, organized by the University of Bologna at the Department of Mathematics in Bologna, located at Piazza S. Donato 5.


RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

- In 1991, he was awarded a fellowship under the National Research Council’s call for proposals No. 201.12.611 of December 17, 1990, for research within the targeted project “INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND PARALLEL COMPUTING.” The fellowship ran from December 1, 1991, to November 30, 1992, and the research, conducted at the Department of Astronomy of the University of Bologna, focused on the topic “Access Networks to Supercomputers: Experiments with Workstations for Graphical Visualization.” In particular, two methods were studied for determining the first and second partial derivatives of a two-dimensional function F(x, y) of a given class, given its values at N points in a triangulated domain in the plane: a step necessary for the local reconstruction of F in each triangle of the domain, using a transfinite interpolation scheme. At the conclusion of this fellowship, a report on the research conducted was submitted to the CNR.

- On May 5, 1993, she entered into a contract for professional services pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 26 of Presidential Decree 382/80 with the University of Bologna, effective from January 1, 1993, to December 31, 1993. During this period, she undertook to carry out professional work for the University of Bologna to support the needs of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Information Sciences in Cesena, within the Faculty of Mathematical, Physical, and Natural Sciences.
The work involved the use of computing systems for processing non-numerical information and scientific computing, connected via a local network and the university network, as well as graphics workstations and parallel computing systems—both with hypercube architectures and with transducer processors.

- In 1993, he wrote an article titled “Two-Dimensional Class Interpolator with Constraints,” which was published in the Proceedings of the Academy of Sciences of the Institute of Bologna, Physical Sciences Class, Volume 282, Memoirs, Series VN. 6, Roundtable on “Knowledge through Images,” held at the Academy of Sciences of Bologna, edited by Prof. Ilio Galligani, 1995.

- In 1994, he attended the summer school course “Theory and Models of Financial Markets,” held in Auronzo di Cadore from June 6 to 10 and organized by the University of Venice.

- In 1994, he published the article “Regions Containing the Eigenvalues of a Matrix and Stability of a System of Differential Equations” in Quaderno No. 59 of the Institute of General and Financial Mathematics of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Bologna.

- On January 9, 1995, he gave a seminar titled “Localization of Eigenvalues in Finite Dimensions” at the Institute of General and Financial Mathematics of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Bologna.


- In 1995, in collaboration with Dr. Daniele Ritelli of the University of Bologna, he wrote the article titled “On the Orbital Stability of the Goodwin-Volterra Economic Growth Model.”


- In 1995, in collaboration with Dr. Daniele Ritelli of the University of Bologna, he wrote an article in English titled “On the Stability of the Periodic Solution of a Goodwin-Volterra-Lotka System.”

 
- In 1995, he participated in competition No. 201. 12.77/2 for 14 scholarships to be used at Italian scientific institutions as part of the TRASPORTI DUE targeted project on the topic of “Models and Algorithms for Road Map Management and Vehicle Routing,” winning one annual scholarship effective September 1, 1995, ranking first in the merit-based graduation program for the aforementioned category with a score of 23.00/30, which he utilized while working at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Bologna under the supervision of Prof. Aristide Mingozzi. At the conclusion of this scholarship, a report on the research conducted was submitted to the CNR.


- In 1996, she participated in the conference “Functional Analysis and Applications” held in Ancona from February 12–14 at the “Vito Volterra” Department of Mathematics of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ancona, presenting a paper titled “On the Stability of Periodic Solutions of a Goodwin-Volterra-Lotka System.”

- In February 1996, the English-language article titled “About the Stability of Periodic Solutions of a Goodwin-Volterra-Lotka System,” written in 1995, was published as Report No. 1 of the “V. Volterra” Department of Mathematics of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ancona.

- In 1996, in collaboration with Dr. Daniele Ritelli of the University of Bologna, he wrote an article in English titled “Stability Properties of Generalized Lotka-Volterra Predator-Prey Systems.”

- In March 1998, he took a course on the SAS system, taught by Dr. Giovanna Galatà, at the Department of Statistics of the University of Bologna.

- In May 1998, he took a course on FileMaker, a program that enables the creation of relational databases—that is, the efficient management of sets of interrelated information organized in such a way that they can be updated, sorted, searched, and printed. FileMaker Pro not only allows for the storage of information but also for its organization and analysis so that the desired information can be extracted.

- On August 24, 1998, she entered into a contract for a PROFESSIONAL ASSIGNMENT FOR SERVICES with the University of Bologna, with a duration of 12 months starting from the date of signing, for a total of at least 1,440 hours. As part of this assignment, the undersigned is developing “customized” faculty databases, statistical repositories, and automated procedures to enable a more efficient organization within the Faculty. The performance of the services in question will consist of the following tasks:
- analysis of the needs of the Dean’s Office;

- Preparation of the basic project;
- Discussion of the project with the Office’s management;
- Preparation of the “alpha” version of the database;
- Testing of the “alpha” version;
- Preparation of the “beta” version of the database.

- On June 7, 1999, she signed a Research Collaboration Agreement with the Department of Mathematics at the University of Bologna after winning the competition for a Research Fellowship in the field of “Numerical Methods for Optimization Problems and for the Processing of Experimental Data.” The research supervisor is Prof. Ilio Galligani, and the contract is for two years (with the possibility of renewal upon recommendation by the Departmental Council).

- On September 22, 1999, she participated in the “Nonlinear Boundary Value Problem” Conference at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Turin.

- From October 5 to 8, 1999, she attended the international conference “VI Italian Meeting on Algebraic Combinatorics” held in Maratea-Acquafredda, in memory of Prof. Gian-Carlo Rota.

In 2000, she wrote the article “Cornelia Fabri,” which was published in March of that same year in the book *Women in History in the Ravenna, Faenza, and Lugo Region from the Middle Ages to the 20th Century*, published by Longo Editore Ravenna.
In 2000, in collaboration with Dr. Daniele Ritelli of the University of Bologna, she wrote the article “Estimates of the Period of Certain Planar Dynamical Systems of Bioeconomic Interest,” which was scheduled for publication in the Proceedings of the Matemates Conference of the Department of Mathematics for Economic and Social Sciences at the University of Bologna.
From October 16 to 17, 2000, he participated in the Matemates Conference organized by the Department of Mathematics for Economic and Social Sciences at the University of Bologna, presenting a paper titled “Period Estimates for Certain Planar Dynamical Systems of Bioeconomic Interest.”
In 2002, he co-authored, with Dr. Daniele Ritelli of the University of Bologna and Dr. Giovanni Zingari Scarpello, the article “Higher-Order Approximation of the Period Function for Single-Degree-of-Freedom Hamiltonian Systems.”
In 2002, he wrote the article titled “Gravitational Oscillator” in collaboration with Dr. Daniele Ritelli of the University of Bologna and Dr. Giovanni Mingari.

2004: The article titled “Higher-Order Approximation of the Period-Energy Function for the Hamiltonian System with a Single Degree of Freedom,” written in collaboration with Prof. Daniele Ritelli of the University of Bologna and Dr. Giovanni Mingari, was published in the journal *Meccanica* 39, Kluwer Academic Publishers, printed in the Netherlands.
2021: On March 16, the article “The Lambert Function, the Quintic Equation, and the Proactive Discovery of the Implicit Function Theorem,” co-authored with Prof. Daniele Ritelli, was published in the *Open Journal of Mathematical Science*, Pakistan.


TEACHING ACTIVITIES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BOLOGNA
- From the 1991–92 academic year to the 1999–2000 academic year (for a total of 9 years), he carried out scientific and teaching activities at the Cesena (Fo) campus, located at Via Sacchi 3, for the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Information Sciences at the University of Bologna, teaching Algebra and Geometry seminars and serving as a subject expert on the respective examination committees.

- From the 1994–95 academic year to the 1999–2000 academic year (for a total of 6 years), he worked at the Institute of General and Financial Mathematics of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Bologna, teaching exercise sessions as part of the General Mathematics course and serving on the relevant examination committees.

 
- From the 1995–96 academic year to the 2008–2009 academic year (for a total of 14 years), he taught the General Mathematics Preparatory Course organized by the Faculty of Economics at the University of Bologna for first-year students: These lectures focused on reviewing the main mathematical topics essential for understanding the General Mathematics course.

- In 1995, he wrote an article titled “Educational Evaluation of Mathematics Preparatory Courses” as part of a university-wide educational innovation project coordinated by the Department of Educational Sciences at the University of Bologna.

- In 1996, he authored an educational publication titled *Preparatory Course in General Mathematics* (Edizioni Nautilus, Bologna), based on the lectures he delivered in September 1996 as part of the General Mathematics Preparatory Course for freshmen at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Bologna.

- In January 1998, he wrote the book *Introductory Course in Mathematics*, published by Pitagora Editrice, Bologna.

- During the academic years 1998–99 and 1999–2000 (for a total of two years), he taught at the Institute of General and Financial Mathematics of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Bologna, assisting with the regular conduct of the Mathematics for Economics course and serving on the relevant examination committees.

- During the academic years 1999/2000, 2000/2001, and 2001/2002 (for a total of 3 years), he collaborated with the Nettuno Consortium on educational initiatives related to the Teleuniversity project. Specifically, he provided student support at the Bologna Technology Hub for the educational services of the University Diploma in Business Economics and Administration and in Tourism Economics and Management offered by the Technology Hub, specifically for the course “Methods and Models for Economic Planning.

- In October 2002, Pitagora Editrice, Bologna, published the second edition of the book titled *Introductory Course in Mathematics*.

- On October 2, 10, and 11, 2002, he participated in the final exams for the IFTS course “Commercial Logistics Specialist,” approved by Regional Resolution No. 2351 of December 7, 1999, representing the University of Bologna (Faculty of Economics) as a full-fledged exam commissioner.

- During the 2002–2003 academic year (for one year), as an adjunct professor, he taught the “Computer Skills” course, including associated exam sessions, at the Faculty of Industrial Chemistry, in the Materials Chemistry and Ceramic Technologies program, at the Faenza (Ra) campus.

- In the academic years 2015/2016, 2016/2017, 2017/18, 2018/19, 2019–20, 2020–21, 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24, and 2024/25 (for a total of 10 academic years), he served as a TUTOR at the School of ECONOMICS, MANAGEMENT, and STATISTICS for the “GENERAL MATHEMATICS” course in the CLEA program, under the supervision of Prof. Piero Plazzi for the first 5 years, and Prof. Fabrizio Lillo and Prof. Natascia Angelini for the last 5 years.




- In the 2016–2017 academic year, he taught the PRELIMINARY COURSE in MATHEMATICAL ANALYSIS (titled “Mathematical Analysis, Second Session”) at the School of ECONOMICS, MANAGEMENT, and STATISTICS, with a 15-hour contract for the “Mathematical Analysis” course in the CLASS program, under the supervision of Prof. Daniele Ritelli.


- In the 2017–2018 and 2018–2019 academic years, he taught the course: CRASH COURSE IN MATHEMATICAL ANALYSIS [code 85094], as a CONTRACT PROFESSOR, at the School of Economics, Management, and Statistics, CLASS program (20 hours).
