Research activity and scientific production

Publications: To date, she has authored over 45 scientific in extenso papers published in peer-reviewed, indexed international journals.

Research Focus: Her scientific activity is consistently focused on human biology, with current core research lines prominently situated within the field of Regenerative Medicine, including:

Investigation of modulators (natural or synthetic molecules, and physical energies) of the cellular senescence process and differentiation in human mesenchymal cells.

Analysis of differentiation and maturation processes of cardiomyocytes derived from iPSCs (induced Pluripotent Stem Cells).

Past Research Lines include:genomic and post-genomic analysis of human chromosome 21; genomic and functional study of the human gene and protein RCAN3 (Regulator of calcineurin 3); molecular biology of the apoptotic process; induction of differentiation in human neoplastic cell lines; theoretical biology.
