October 2007-ongoing: Associate Professor in Applied Biology at University of Bologna, Italy (Department of Experimental, Diagnostic and Specialty Medicine)

2002-2007: Researcher in Applied Biology at the University of Bologna, Italy.

2002: PhD in Cytomorphology, at University of Bologna, Italy.

1997: Degree in Biological Sciences, University of Bologna (110/110 cum laude).

 

Teaching:

Professor of Applied Biology in "Exercise and Sport Sciences" degree courses since 2003 and in "Dentistry" degree courses since 2014.

 

Research projects on human biology followed over time:

cell senescence modulators in human mesenchymal cells;

phisical energies and natural extracts in adult stem cells.

induction of differentiation of neoplastic cell lines;

molecular biology of the apoptotic process;

genomic and post-genomic analysis of the human chromosome 21;

genomic and functional study of the human gene and protein of RCAN3 (Regulator of calcineurin 3);

theoretical biology.

To date she has pubblished more then 40 scientific and international papers in extenso.


Collaborations: laboratory of Biochemical Pharmacology, William Harvey Research Institute-– St. Bartholomew's and Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Londra.
