Silvia Ballarè is a researcher at the University of Bologna, where she has been working since 2020. She graduated from the University of Turin and obtained her PhD from the Universities of Bergamo and Pavia.
Her research focuses on linguistic variation, with particular attention to morphosyntax, and she has worked on the creation of several linguistic resources. She is a coordinator (together with Caterina Mauri, Massimo Cerruti, and Eugenio Goria) of the KIParla corpus and the author of numerous scientific publications.
