Sham Mirou

I am a PhD student in Health, Safety and Green Systems at the University of Bologna and I am currently working on the ADAS project (Analysis of driver-road interaction using innovative methods for connected and autonomous vehicles equipped with advanced driver assistance systems). My research focuses on improving road safety and infrastructure performance in the context of connected and autonomous vehicles (CAVs), through the analysis of interactions between driver, vehicle and infrastructure, using innovative methodologies and advanced sensor technologies. Under the supervision of Prof. Valeria Vignali, Prof. Claudio Lantieri, and Eng. Luca Dal Passo (Milano Serravalle – Milano Tangenziali S.p.A.), I am developing data-driven models to support the effective integration of ADAS systems. With a solid background in sustainable pavement engineering and urban environmental analysis, I adopt an interdisciplinary approach to intelligent transport systems and solutions for resilient mobility.
