Research activities are in Applied Physics field and are
focused on:
- Models and methods for the environmental sustainability assessment: Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Carbon Footprint (CF);
- Predictive modelling of air pollution;
- Radiation protection. NORMs (Naturally Occurring Radioactive
Materials) and TENORMs (Technologically enhanced naturally
occurring radioactive materials);
- Applications of environmental radionuclides as mechanistic or
timescale tracers of natural processes.
