Architect and PhD in Architectural and Urban Composition (ICAR/14) from the University of Bologna, she is a Junior assistant professor (fixed-term) at the Department of Architecture.
Her research focuses on architectural and urban composition, with particular attention to the design of public space, urban form in relation to the territory, regeneration processes in the contemporary city, collaborative practices, green infrastructures, and the enhancement of architectural and cultural heritage. She has also investigated modern architecture in Colombia, with specific reference to the work of Bruno Violi in Bogotá, the subject of her doctoral thesis and of research and teaching activities with the Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
She participates in national and international research projects, collaborating with universities, research institutes, public administrations, and third-sector organizations. She is the author of scientific publications and regularly takes part in conferences, seminars, and design workshops.
