Dr. Mastria conducts research in the field of general psychology, focusing mainly on cognitive processes — such as perception, memory and learning, decision-making, and creativity — as well as on emotions and their interaction with cognition. The methodologies employed include the measurement of subjective (such as self-reports), behavioral (accuracy and response times), and physiological indices, with particular attention to electroencephalography (EEG) and event-related potentials (ERPs) analysis.
