I completed my PhD in Translation, Interpreting, and Interculturality at the University of Bologna, Department of Interpreting and Translation, with a research project aimed at exploring the experience of interpreters who worked during the humanitarian crisis unleashed by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Since 2017, I have been an interpreter trainer (both dialogue and conference interpreting), combination Russian<>Italian, by the same department. In the past years, I have been teaching interpreting at other Italian public and private universities.
I hold a degree in Conference Interpreting from the School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators, University of Bologna. I've spent several years abroad in Russia, Belgium and Serbia.
I am a native speaker of Italian and I have been working as a freelance interpreter for Serbian, Russian, English, French, and Croatian languages since 2008.
