Short Bio

Sara Pini is a PhD student at the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures (LILEC), Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna. She belongs to the 34th cycle and her PhD programme is in Modern Languages, Literatures, and Culture, her specific curriculum is World Literature and Postcolonial Studies. Her research is focussing on memory in contemporary Holocaust children's literature and she is supervised by Prof Elena Lamberti (co-supervisor: Prof Maurizio Ascari). 

She has obtained a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures (English and Spanish), 110/110 cum laude, and a Master's degree in Modern, Comparative, and Postcolonial Literatures, 110/110 cum laude, within the same Department.

She is part of the Editorial Staff of the PhD in Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures website and she is willing to consider being co-supervisor for students' dissertations.
