Sara Montagna is working in between biology and computer science (BIO-ICT convergence) studying the application of innovative techniques devised in computer science, agent-based systems in particular in challenging bio/healthcare scenarios, such as self-management of chronic diseases and Hospital 4.0. She got her Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering in January 2007 (110/110 cum Laude) and her PhD in Computer Science in April 2011. Since October 2012 she is a Research Fellow at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DISI) of the University di Bologna. She has published more than 40 papers, out of which 12 on renowned Internal Journals. The 4th of April 2107, she got from MIUR the National Scientific Qualification to function as Associate Professor (Competition Sector 09/H1 – Systems of information processing).
