Since 2015, he has been an adjunct professor at the University of Bologna, School of Engineering and Architecture.
From 2018 to 2020, he taught postgraduate training courses at the DASTU department of the Politecnico di Milano.
His fields of research and interest concern innovative systems for the representation and management of architectural design, with particular reference to BIM (Building Information Modeling), and to visualization and animation in computer graphics for the construction sector.
Education
He graduated in Architecture in 2011 with top honors, discussing his thesis in "Architectural Drawing" titled "Digital Palladio: Criteria and Methods for a Virtual Museum of Architecture."
Teaching Activity:
Since 2009, he has been continuously involved in academic training as a tutor in the drawing and surveying courses of the Architecture program.
He is currently an adjunct professor, where he teaches the Building Information Modelling course.
In the Civil Engineering program, he has taught a module of the Drawing and CAD Laboratory, as well as the Building Information Modelling course in the Civil Engineering program.
In the past, in addition to the activities listed above, he has taught the AFPG course "Parametric Computer-Aided Drawing Laboratory," held tutoring contracts for the Architectural Drawing and Architectural Surveying courses, and provided support activities for the Modelling and Visualization for Architecture Laboratory (LaMoViDA).
Awards and Recognitions
In July 2010, he ranked first, winning the Grand Prize, in the international student competition "A Fresh Look at 20th Century Architectural Heritage," organized by UIA, Docomomo, and Autodesk.
Other Activities and Certifications
Since 2012, as a freelance professional with a registered VAT number (partita IVA), he has worked as a Senior BIM Technical Consultant, delivering training courses and implementations on BIM processes and related technological systems for professional practices and major design firms.
In 2021, he obtained the ICMQ certification as a BIM Coordinator.
Since 2013, he has held the "Autodesk Certified Professional" credential for Autodesk Revit Architecture, a globally recognized certification.
