Graduated in Law and Political Science, he holds a Ph.D. in "Political History of the Contemporary Age" at the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Bologna. At the same university he has been working as research fellowfor several years before starting a collaboration with the Department of Economics and Politics of the University of Valle d'Aosta. Since 2009, she has held courses on the history of parties and institutions in Republican Italy within the University Consortial Studies Program. He has obtained the national scientific qualification for a second-level university professor in the disciplines of Contemporary History and History of Political Institutions. Member of the editorial staff of the magazine "Ricerche di Storia Politica" deals in particular with political history and institutions in Italy between the 19th and 20th centuries. Currently, he is Associate Professor in Contemporary History at the Department of Arts of the University of Bologna.
