Roberto Spighi was born in Bologna on 8th april 1966.
He graduated in Physics at the University of Study of Bologna
on 22nd july 1991 with 110/110 cum laude with the thesys
"The Obelix experiment at CERN: instrumental developments of
the calorimeter and preliminary measurements".
From 1993 to 1995 he had a temporary position at the Istituto
Nazionale
Fisica Nucleare (INFN).
From 1995 he had a researcher permanent position (III level) in the
INFN of Bologna.
From 2006 he had a researcher permanent position (II level) in the
INFN of Bologna.
In 2007-2008, 2010-2011, 2011-2012 e 2012-2013 he had
four contracts as professor to teach physics at the
Engineering University of Bologna.
He is author of more than 200 papers on reviews with
international committe
and he presented contributions and invited talks at national and
international conferences.
