Roberto Pasini teaches at the Department of Cultural Heritage of the Università di Bologna. Previously, he has taught in the Department of Architecture and Habitat Studies of the Universidad de Monterrey and served as a lecturer, design critic, and Visiting Professor in Urban Planning and Design at Harvard. His work focuses on the contemporary landscape as the field of interaction of environmental systems, built structures, and cultural dynamics. He has lectured widely on these themes. Among recent publications,
Landscape Paradigms… (Springer 2019) and
Symbiotic Matorral (Libria 2019) collect opposite and complementary pages of the same travelogue through the regions of the landscape. Pasini has served as a juror of the EU Prize for Cultural Heritage and received the Premio di Architettura H.C. Andersen of the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca.
