Education

 

"Laurea" degree in Physics: University of Padua (1990). Thesis: "Three-body dissipative processes in heavy ion reactions at low energies (study of the 32 S+63Cu reaction)".

 

Ph.D. degree: University of Padua (1994). Thesis: "Nucleus-nucleus collisions at intermediate energies: collective flow of heavy fragments in symmetrical and semicentral reactions".

 

Research experience

Research activity at: INFN Legnaro National Laboratories, Centre de Recherches Nucléaires of Strasbourg, Gesellschaft für Schwerionenforschung in Darmstadt, CERN (Geneva), INFN Frascati National Laboratories, ENEA Research Centre of Frascati.

Research field: heavy-ion nuclear physics, proton-antiproton hadronic physics al low energies, hypernuclear physics, fiber optic Fiber Bragg Grating sensors applied to detector physics, astroparticle physics.
