Roberto Della Casa
Graduated in Agricultural Economy, during the winter session of
the Academic year 1985-86, achieved at the University of Bologna
with a first-class degree (110/110 summa cum laude). The thesis
achieved the perpetual annual award “CESARE ZUCCHINI” such as the
best thesis of the year of the University of Bologna.
From May 1987 to December 1995 he was the Scientific Coordinator
of the permanent Observatory on the Fresh Produce Market created by
the Economic Studies Company Nomisma. From 1991 to 1995 he held the
same role within the Agroindustrial Observatory of the same
company.
In June 1990 he established Agroter, Services Company in the
research/consulting area for themes relating to marketing and
communication for agribusiness sector companies at an international
level, with a widespread organization that now counts specific
partners all around the World.
From 1991 teacher at the Agribusiness Master, within the
Business Management School of Bocconi University in Milan.
From 1994 Professor of “Foodstuff Marketing” and, from the
Academic year 1999-2000, also of "Foodstuff supply chain
Management”, within the University of Bologna – Forlì branch.
In 2001, in joint venture with Market Intelligence Limited of
London – leader publisher at an international level for economic
and market themes in relation to fresh produce – established and
coordinates from a scientific point of view Italiafruit News, the
first on-line Italian web network on the international fresh
produce system, that currently counts over 5.000 Italian companies
of the sector as subscribers.
In 2005, in joint with Clerici Logistics Group, international
leading company in fresh produce logistics, he established Reefer
Logistics – Executive Consulting Services, focused on advanced
marketing tools to the reefer distribution sector.
As Managing Director booth of Agroter and Reefer Logistics, he
is carrying out consulting and training activities, at
international level, for public authorities and private companies
involved in the agribusiness sector. Particularly, the main areas
of interest are: new product development, retail-industry
relationships management, strategic and operative marketing and
supply chain management.
