Riccardo Billero is Adjunct Professor at the "Università di Bologna" since 2018 and at the "Università di Firenze" since 2018. He is also lecturer and teaching assistant at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano since 2019.
He obtained a 5-year degree in Computer Engineering in 2009 at the University of Florence, where he was also awarded a PhD in “Telematica e Società dell’Informazione” (Telematics and Information Society) in 2013; during this period he has conducted research on Linked Data, Open Data and their implementations in the tourism industry as well as in Smart Cities.

His main field of research is Computational Linguistics; in particular, he works as a technological coordinator in the LBC project at the University of Florence, in partnership with more than 30 expert linguists, translators and literatus involved in the realisation of multilingual corpora centred on the study of cultural heritage lexicon.
