Short Bio

Researcher since 2015 at University of Bologna, he works in the field of Industrial Engineering and conducts his research on the design, management, control and optimization of industrial manufactruing and logistics-distribution systems. His main research interests are focused on agro-food supply chains which incorporate a wide set of issues regarding the economic and environmental sustainability of both infrastructures and operations, the products quality and safety, the weaknesses and inefficiencies of processing, packaging, storage and distribution systems. The techniques and methodologies he uses to work with belong to the field of mathematical programming in the field of Operations Management.
He is currently committed in many industrial and funded projects and collaborates with reowned international research centers as Georgia Institute of Technology, San Francisco State University, Catholica Universidad de Chile, CSIRO, CSIR, Wageningen, Lund University. He is on the board of the Food & Wine Supply Chain Council (FWSCC) and author of several publications on Journals, book chapters and conference proceedings. Go to the Curriculum vitae
