Curriculum vitae

EDUCATION

PhD Student in Health, Safety and Green Systems

2025 – Present / University of Bologna – Bologna, Italy

I am currently conducting research on nature-based solutions to enhance the adaptability and resilience of the city of Imola to climate change.

MSc in Botany

2022 – 2024 / Federal University of Paraná – Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil

I examined the impact of climate change on Brazilian conifers and identified future challenges for the conservation of this plant group, which plays a key role in biodiversity. I strengthened my skills in scientific writing, the use of analytical tools and critical thinking.

MSc in Environmental Science and Technology

2019 – Not completed / University of Porto – Porto, Portugal

The programme was interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. My initial project focused on the resilience of the city of Curitiba in the face of climate change. Although the degree was not completed, studying abroad provided valuable experience and helped me develop personal skills such as adaptability, resilience and intercultural communication.

BSc in Biological Sciences

2015 – 2018 / Universidade Positivo – Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil

I increased my involvement in scientific research by assessing the water quality of two rivers in the state of Paraná. I developed skills related to data collection, handling and presentation, as well as communication and teamwork.

Forest Technician Diploma

2012 – 2014 / Federal Institute of Paraná – Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil

This vocational course, integrated with secondary education, helped me develop a sense of responsibility, organisation, commitment and dedication from an early stage. It also marked the beginning of my academic pathway focused on nature conservation. I studied different types of substrates for seedling development in nurseries.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Volunteer at ICMBio (Brazilian Institute for the Environment and Biodiversity Conservation) in the Fernando de Noronha archipelago. I worked in the research and conservation of the island’s native flora, managing invasive exotic plants and restoring ecosystems.
