I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow funded by a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellowship for the project PERSON – Platform Level Bureaucracy and Social Inclusion. I am Visiting Postdoctoral Researcher at the Université du Québec à Montréal.
Previously, I was an Assistant Professor (RTD-A) at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and a postdoctoral research fellow on nationally funded research projects. I was awarded the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) Young Researcher Grant (2024) and the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Seal of Excellence (2023). I received my PhD in Sociology and Social Research in 2020.
My research focuses on street-level bureaucracy, public policy implementation, and welfare services, with particular attention to the processes through which inequalities are produced and reproduced. I primarily employ qualitative research methods and have developed specific expertise in the use of vignette methodology.
