I am a sociologist with a background in social policy and public services. My research lies at the intersection of labour sociology, public policy implementation, and the digital transformation of public services.

I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellowship project PERSON – Platform Level Bureaucracy and Social Inclusion. As part of the same project, I am also a Visiting Postdoctoral Researcher at the Université du Québec à Montréal, where I collaborate with the Centre interuniversitaire de recherche sur la science et la technologie (CIRST) and the École des sciences de la gestion (ESG).

Previously, I was Assistant Professor (RTD-A) at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. I was also awarded the Young Researcher 2024 grant for researchers holding the MSCA Seal of Excellence and worked as a postdoctoral researcher on several nationally funded research projects.

In March 2020, I obtained a PhD in Sociology and Social Research, conducting ethnographic research on labour inspectors' discretion in dealing with similar cases of labour irregularities. My doctoral research also compared labour inspection practices in Italy and the Netherlands using the vignette methodology.

In 2025, I obtained the Italian National Scientific Qualification (Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale) for Associate Professorship in the academic field 14/D1 – Sociology of Economic, Labour, Environmental and Territorial Processes.

My current research examines the transformation of public services through digitalization, with a particular focus on public employment services, platform-level bureaucracy, inequalities in access to welfare and labour market policies, and the implications of digital governance for social inclusion.

Throughout my academic career, I have also taught at several universities, delivering courses in "Social Policy", "Organization of Social and Health Services", "Economic Sociology", and "Reading Data and Writing Reports".
