MOOC - Digital use in the addiction field: from risk of abuse to applications in intervention design

Vai al sito

The course examines the role of digital technology in the context of pathological addictions, integrating psychosocial, clinical, and practical perspectives to offer a multidimensional approach aimed at understanding both the opportunities and the risks associated with technology use.

The program first explores the benefits of incorporating digital tools into mental health interventions, highlighting how these technologies can improve access to resources, enhance communication, and promote healthy behaviors. At the same time, it addresses the risks associated with hyperconnectivity and excessive use of digital devices, analyzing the psychosocial factors that may increase the likelihood of developing digital-related abuse or addictive behaviors. Strategies for balanced digital time management and tools to identify risk trajectories are also discussed, providing guidance for the design of targeted psychoeducational interventions.
