He earned his PhD in Contemporary Italian Literature and Environmental Humanities from the University of Bologna in 2025. His forthcoming dissertation with Bologna University Press reinterprets the works of Calvino and Bassani through object-oriented ontology and the theory of hyperobjects. His research focuses on literary theory, contemporary aesthetics and ontology, and North American Transcendentalism. He currently serves as a subject expert and teaching tutor in Contemporary Italian Literature at the University of Bologna
