He is a Civil Engineer in Transportation, Post-Doc Research Fellow at the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental and Materials Engineering (DICAM) of the University of Bologna, Italy where today is the Scientific Manager of the SAFERUP! H2020 MSCA ITN-2017 project. He works in the Transportation Infrastructures section of the DICAM and his research topic is related to pavement materials with a specific focus on recycling and eco-friendly construction technologies.
He developed his PhD on the experimental applications of industrial by-products for the production of innovative and sustainable materials for civils infrastructures.
Dr. Tataranni is a Marie Curie Fellow since 2015 as Early Stage Researcher in the RISE project REMINE on the “Reuse of mining waste into innovative geopolymeric-based structural panels, precast, ready mixes and in situ applications”.
