1980-86 "Chargé de cours" at the department of experimental psychology at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Aix-Marseille I. Teaching psychology students of the language first, second and third cycle. Courses that focus on processes "visual", "phonetic" and "semantic" involved in reading.

1982-84 "allocatie de recherche" of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) in France. Research within the cognitive processes involved in the treatment of the meaning of the words: experimental investigation of access to the lexicon.

1985 Postgraduate Scholarship of the Friuli-Venezia-Giulia in the Faculty of Modern Language Teaching, University of Udine. Experimental research on the effects of bilingualism in learning the national language.

1985-1987 Teacher of languages (French and Italian) at the Italian School and High School French in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) as well as teacher of Italian for retraining of adults.

1987-89 International Officer (as Associate Expert of Italian Cooperation) at the UNESCO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean (OREALC) based in Santiago, Chile Cooperation on plans and programs of pre-school school, primary and secondary.
