Short Bio

Paolo Paronuzzi is an Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) at the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering "Guglielmo Marconi" (DEI), University of Bologna.

His research focuses on Operations Research, with particular emphasis on combinatorial optimization and mathematical programming. He develops mathematical models, exact  and heuristic algorithms for solving challenging optimization problems, with applications in network design, vehicle routing, logistics, planning and resource allocation.

His research interests also include stochastic optimization, robust optimization, and the application of advanced optimization techniques to real-world problems arising in industry and service systems.

He teaches courses in Operations Research and collaborates with national and international research groups on the development of advanced optimization methods.
