- symbolic and communicative dimensions of the practices of
consumption in the global society, with particular reference to the
development of social identity;
- practices for responsible consumption, political
consumerism, active citizenship and civic engagement: development
of a culture of responsibility through dissemination of
sustainable lifestyle and a sglobal responsible citinzenship in
terms of justice and environmental sustainability, respect for
individual and collective human rights, participation,
responsibility and engagement;
- social communication with particular reference to the
humanitarian communication and the communication of sustainability,
also related to corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Those three topics are the result (theoretical, methodological
and empirical) of a research team within Bologna University. Many
scientific projects of national relevance (PRIN) and also a UE
Leonardo project have been realized. Many seminars and congress
(national and international) have been organized and many papers
and books result of the researches have been published.
