Full Professor in Organic Chemistry.
Since 2019 she is coordinator of the Degree Course in Environmental Sciences and of the Master's Degree in Environmental Assessment and Management.
In 2019 she becomes a member of the Doctoral School in Chemistry of the University of Bologna
Since 2018 she is Scientific manager of the UO Renewable Sources and Sustainability of CIRI FRAME (Renewable sources, environment, sea and energy)
Since 2017 she is member of the University Thematic Group Biobased & Biotech
Since 2014, September: Associate Professor at the Dep. of Chemistry, University of Bologna.

Promoter of a spin-off company owned by the University of Bologna "B-PLAS"sbrl. BPlas's business model is devoted to design and commercialization of industrial plants for transforming organic sludge from wastewater treatment (WWT) into a specific type of bioplastic (PHA).
Collaboration with several pharmaceutical, agro and fine chemical industries within joint research projects.
Main research topic:
-sustainable chemistry, in particular extraction, synthesis and use of compounds from renewable sources in eco-compatible solvents
