We investigate new asymmetric catalytic strategies capable of controlling short-lived reactive intermediates using light and molecular design. By integrating organocatalysis, photocatalysis, and enzyme engineering, we aim to establish mechanistic principles and catalytic platforms that unlock selective radical chemistry for the synthesis of complex chiral structures. Our goal is to enable energy-efficient, sustainable, and scalable processes for the preparation of pharmaceutically relevant molecules
