Education
Paolo Ferri gained his PhD in Management from the University of Bologna in 2012. He has a master degree in Innovation and Organization of Culture and the Art.
Academic career
Before becoming an Associate professor at UNIBO, Paolo Ferri worked as Assistant professor at UNIBO (2016-2019), lecturer in Accounting at RMIT University in Melbourne (2015-2016), post-doctoral fellow at Stockholm Business School (2013-2015). He has also taught at Singapore Institute of Management and UPH (Jakarta).
Teaching activity
Paolo Ferri is the course director of GIOCA, where he also teaches Business Models in Creative Industries. Besides, he teaches accounting to CLABE students and cost accounting to CLEA students.
Research activity
Paolo Ferri's research deals with the study of change and innovation in accountability systems among complex and professional organizations, and has been conducted mainly in cultural organizations such as museums, archaeological sites, and opera houses. His research has been published in Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal, Accounting History, Critical Perspectives on Accounting, the Journal of Management of Governance, Financial Accountability & Management and the European Accounting Review.
